Community Composting

food to compost

Want to reduce waste and save money?  Around 50% of our average household waste is biodegradable and can be easily converted into a healthy soil conditioner.

Ballymun Regeneration (BRL) has been involved in a joint project with the National Botanic Gardens and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to help develop a composting service in Santry Cross.  Food and garden waste can be composted as part of this project in a Big Hanna T-120 in-vessel composter, which is located within the Santry Cross apartment complex.
