Discover Primary Science

The exciting and innovative hands-on Discover Primary Science (DPS) workshops at the Rediscovery Centre are fully booked for the 2009/2010 academic year.

The Rediscovery Centre Education Programme provides workshops that introduce pupils to the main options for avoiding, reusing, recycling and recovering waste. The workshops, which focus on environmental impact, support the development of key analytical skills such as observation, monitoring and interpretation.

The centre has been selected and accredited as a Discover Science Centre under the Discover Primary Science initiative.  Participating schools who visit the Centre can gain credit towards achieving an Award of Science Excellence.
