Rediscover Fashion runs a series of courses and workshops designed to give your old clothes a new lease of life!
Participants will learn to develop key fashion design skills such as basic sewing, pattern making and how to upstyle that old wardrobe! The workshops also put emphasis on the environmental values of garment recycling and the importance of reducing the volume material going to landfill in Ireland.
Beginner, intermediate and advanced level workshops will take place in spring 2010. See below for details
Beginners: Creative Accessorising of old clothes
Join a Rediscover fashion Beginner's workshop and find out how to alter, accessorize and redesign your old clothes, sewing skills and experience not essential.
Intermediate: Bastic pattern skills
This course teaches you how to understand and develop patterns from basic blocks. All machinery and basic materials included.
Advanced: Fashion Design and Dress Making
Learn how to design a pattern and make any garment from scratch. This course will teach you how to trun your personal design ideas into reality.
