2008 - Rediscover Fashion Show
The Rediscovery Fashion Project was officially launched during a Rediscover Fashion Show on the 2nd of May 2008.
The show presented the work of designers, Choi Cheung, Eva MAguire and Carrie Ann Moran. The three designers developed a clothing range made from 100% reclaimed and recycled fabrics.
The designers were tasked with producing at least 10 outfits each for launch at a Fashion show in Ballymun staged as a highlight of the ‘Greener Ballymun’ conference. The collections unveiled at the fashion show generated extensive media coverage and interest. A short documentary was produced on the project, which was previewed at the Electric Picnic in September 2008.
