Call for a plastics reprocessor partner
The Rediscovery Centre is currently working with rx3 (Market Development Group for waste resource) and NCAD to create a sustainable business within Ballymun. The project is exploring waste resource in the greater Ballymun area with teh aim to create a local industry plastics recyclign initiative.
The collected plastic will be quality assessed, bundled, reprocessed and then fabricated into a range of products designed specifically for the Irish market. We aim to demonstrate 'cradle to cradle' design practices and be regarded as a national demonstration project for future models around the country.
