Rediscover Paint is a paint reuse scheme run by the Rediscovery Centre. We collect, sort for reuse paint that would otherwise go to waste and then make it available to collect for reuse.

What we do
All paint from Rediscover Paint is offered at a minimal cost and for a fraction of the price of new paint, making it very affordable. Any money received is used to help the Rediscovery Centre in continuing to serve the local community.
How do I donate paint?
Paint can be donated at the following Fingal County Council Recycling Centre's

Note: Fingal County Council applies a €4 charge for acceptance of household hazardous waste at their recycle centre’s (payment by debit / credit card).

What sort of paint do Rediscover Paint stock for members?
Rediscover Paint only stocks non-hazardous, water based paints in plastic containers for reuse. This generally includes; Emulsions, Undercoats, Masonry paints & Exterior paints
Collecting Paint
Rediscover Paint is run as a membership scheme, so to collect paint simply join as a member and then you can collect paint on a regular basis. See below.

Please send your completed membership form plus cheque (payable to Rediscovery Centre Ltd) to;

Alternatively call into us at our workshop to submit a completed membership form and your cash or cheque payment;
Once you are a member you will be able to collect paint from us for reuse.
There are a number of different rates for membership, so you can pick the one which best suits you:
Rate 1 - €30 per annum (For up to 50 litres per membership year)
Rate 2 - €75 per annum (For up to 150 litres per membership year)
Rate 3 - €150 per annum (For up to 300 litres per membership year)
What sort of things can I do with reusable paint?
Usually we have a range of different colours in our paint store, which are especially good for schools, community groups and youth projects. The types and colours of paint vary all the time. For example in this picture some community artists are using paint from Rediscover Paint to paint a mural at a Festival of World Cultures event in Dún Laoghaire.
