Ballymun Farmers market coordinator and Rediscovery Centre Ecostore Assistant.
Area of activity
Working in the department of planning and social regeneration at Ballymun Regeneration (BRL) based in the new Rediscovery Centre Ecostore.
Occupational activity
Co-ordinating and promoting Ballymun Farmers Market and Rediscovery Centre Ecostore assistant.
Elements of Experience offered
Customer service in Ballymun EcoStore & Ballymun Farmers Market; day to day co-ordination of Ballymun Farmers Market; marketing and advertising; budget and market accounts management; community development and networking; business development; maintaining good relationships with market traders and customers; ensure market meets legislative requirements.
Person Specification
Good interpersonal skills; ability to communicate clearly; IT literate (microsoft word and excel essential); clean driving license essential; experience in retail / food industry desirable; manual handling experience required; experience in website maintenance desirable.
This is a work placement programme (WPP) and does not offer a salary, however there may be opportunities for additional income generation and current benefits can be retained during work placement programme.

Rediscover Fashion Assistant.
Area of activity
Working with the Rediscover Fashion Team based in the new Rediscovery Centre Ecostore, Ballymun.
Elements of Experience offered
The Fashion Assistant will gain valuable experience working with Ireland's newest eco label. Key areas of experienced gained will include: Dress making; Design; Customer service and administration
Person Specification
Applicants must have experience in the following areas, sewing, pattern drafting and garment construction, an interest in sustainable fashion essential. Applicants will be expected to assist Fashion Director with the day to day administration of the label but will also be expected to interpret designs, draft patterns and construct garments to a professional level.
This is a work placement and does not offer a salary.
