The Rediscovery Centre has just launched Ask The Expert! This will be a series of online videos where our experts answer your questions on various subjects such as bicycles, furniture, paint, fashion, and more. You can access the content here.
The first episodes feature Gerard Griffin, Rediscover Furniture Programme Manager and bona fide furniture expert, having worked in the business for over 40 years.
The episodes cover:
– How to strip and re-varnish a large oak piece of furniture (Part 1)
– How to repaint an old display cabinet (Part 1)
– How to fix the drawers of an old 1970’s bureau (Part 2)
– How to restore an old record player (Part 2)
and all the necessary steps involved in each project.
