Rediscovery Centre Project funded under Community Climate Action Programme

Posted on 28th October 2022

The Rediscovery Centre is thrilled to announce we have been awarded funding under the Community Climate Action Programme (Strand 2) fund, launched today by the Department of Environment, Climate and Communications and Pobal.

This important fund aims to build community capacity in relation to climate action.

Our Building Circular Economy Opportunities in Communities project aims to empower and build capacity within communities to support local climate & environmental action through the development of circular economy opportunities. These will help communities to address unsustainable consumption patterns and reduce waste in the areas of Food & Waste, Shopping & Recycling.

Our three year project will be delivered through leveraging community strengths, promoting engagement and mentoring in partnership with regional community accelerators EDI Longford, Tait House and Roscommon Women’s Network.
