Introduction to Home Bicycle Maintenance 1 

An easy introduction for beginners, this class will show you what you’ll need at home to maintain and look after you bicycle. We will start with an overview of the: types of bicycles, parts of the bicycle, tools required, lubricants, cleaners how to do a safety check of a bicycle and we will finish off with hands on learning how to remove a wheel, repair a puncture and put the wheel back on correctly.

Who it’s for: This class is aimed at people who have never, or not in a long time worked on their bicycle and would like a general overview of how to identify problems with their bikes and how to repair punctures and replace tyres and tubes.

All you need to know about Maintaining and Servicing Brakes

A step up from Introduction to Home Bicycle Maintenance 1, this class provides a full overview of the different types of brakes, how to assess, maintain and replace brake pads, cables and housing.

Who it’s for: This hands on class is best suited for people who have some experience of home bicycle maintenance, or have completed Introduction to Home Bicycle Maintenance 1, and would like to know how to identify and repair common problems with their brakes cables, housing and pads.
