Event Description:
Wild Sióg, finalist in the International 'Free From' Skincare awards 2021 is back at the Rediscovery Centre to speak about foraging, the medicinal properties of Irish wild herbs and the various methods of herbal extraction.
Spring is a great time to forage and plenty of wild food samples are provided so that everyone can try some of our amazing wild herbs and berries! Tara will also speak about her Apiary of Native Irish Honey Bees.
Everyone will leave with a booklet of recipes to try at home and a hand rolled beeswax candle.
If you are interested in natural remedies, wild foods and sustainable gift ideas then this is the workshop for you!
