Have you heard the ghost stories of Ballymun?
The Banshee of the Shadyhill Avenue or the demon that haunted the grounds of the old St. Pappin’s Church...
These stories may be thrilling, but none were as scary as those heard about the Old Boiler House.
It was said that dark spirits dwelt in the thick smoke. Today, the boilers are gone and the pollution has stopped, but around Ireland, emissions are still rising and we are still destroying the earth. The ghouls and ghosts from the past, present and future have started to stir again.
On Halloween week the spirits will be especially strong, but will you be brave enough to visit the Rediscovery Centre? Join us if you dare…
Take a walk around the Rediscovery Centre to find out what warnings they have for us about the future of the planet, but be careful, the ghosts and their stories might scare you!
This event will take place between 27th and 29th October, and take place every fifteen minutes from 5pm until 6.45pm. It is being run as part of Otherworld festival in Ballymun.
