The Rediscovery Centre’s education team has been awarded funding from Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) to deliver an education programme based around STEM (science, technology, engineering, and maths) topics nationwide. This funding will allow us to expand our work with schools and communities all over Ireland, and will have a particular focus on DEIS (Delivering Equality of Opportunity in Schools) schools in disadvantaged communities that are historically less engaged with STEM. Our education team already reaches over 10,000 participants per year, and with this funding, this number will almost double for 2021 & 2022.
