The EU has launched its Sustainable Products Initiative, which is now open for public consultation until June 9th. The initiative has an aim of making products more sustainable by proposing new and additional legislative measures across electronics and ICT, textiles, furniture, steel, cement and chemicals, making products more durable, reusable, repairable, recyclable, and energy-efficient.
