Women in Science Event
Thursday 14th November, 6pm to 9pm

Join us for a fascinating evening of stories and advice at our Women in Science event. As part of the Let’s Talk Science Festival, Women in Science is open to the public (15+ years) and provides insight into STE(A)M careers through first-hand experiences of female scientists and researchers. Women working across the spectrum of science will tell us about their life, careers, and answer all your questions. This evening will both inspire and engage visitors of all ages.

We have invited female scientists to speak about their work and the impact of science on their lives. This event will be connected to the climate action theme by also inviting female scientists working on environmental and sustainability issues (e.g. from the EPA).Note: this event is aimed at women – adults and teens.

Speakers include:

Dr Laura Zubiate (Met Eireann researcher) for Women in Science
Dr Tanja Narancic (Women in Science)
Emer Cooney, Inspector at Office of Environmental Enforcement, EPA
Monica Lee (iCRAG)
