It is estimated that €4.8bn will be spent on retail sales during the month of December – €1.2bn more than in normal months but with the additional sales comes additional packaging which means more recycling challenges and opportunities.
Dr Sarah Miller, CEO of the Rediscovery Centre, joined Bobby Kerr on Newstalk to discuss the state of recycling in Ireland. Also joining Sarah was Seamus Clancy, CEO of Repak Ltd and Dessie Crinion, Managing Director of Recycling at Panda.
