The Rediscovery Centre has created a brand new logo to match our brand new headquarters in Ballymun. The Centre is now based in the old Boiler House situated on the Ballymun road which has been transformed to deliver a creative space connecting people, ideas and resources. The centre has been repurposed to create Europe’s first 3D textbook, a new concept in educational space design. During the construction phase we used as much of the old building as possible and this included the retention of the distinctive steel beams. Once fire-engine red, the beams provide a glimpse into the buildings past but have now been restyled/upcycled/modernised with a fresh new orange look.
The striking beams began to symbolise the uniqueness of this reused/salvaged building and the orange was so well loved that it was adopted by the Rediscovery Centre as the colour for our new logo. We hope you like it? The logo was designed by Sinead Kenny and incorporates the unique font developed specifically for the RDC by John Fogarty at NCAD’s Origin8.
We will shortly be launching our brand new website that will allow you to book courses, buy some of our unique products and engage with the centre’s activities and events. the website will be launched at the official opening of the Centre on May 11th.
