Rediscover furniture is a social enterprise that is located in the unique Rediscovery Centre, the National Centre for the Circular Economy, in Ballymun. This social enterprise creates training opportunities for the long term unemployed and all revenue generated from its activities are reinvested back into the enterprise. The Rediscover Furniture programme is led by Gerard Griffin and it aims to bring new life to old furniture. It takes great pride that furniture which was destined for landfill has been rescued and given a new lease of life. The programme is aligned to the sustainable ethos of the Rediscovery Centre and the team uses traditional methods and environmentally friendly products in all of their work.
Rediscover Furniture offers furniture courses, upcycling courses and a repairs and restoration service to the public. For any queries relating to repairs please email pictures of your items to firstname.lastname@example.org
