Rediscover Paint

Rediscover paint collects paint from the recycling centres and recycles it to create new colours for sale in our Eco Store for €1 per 1 Litre. The aim of the programme is to divert reusable paint from disposal/incineration and provide affordable paint for reuse to the public and community organizations. Please note we do not accept paint at the Rediscovery Centre for recycling.

What sort of paint does Rediscover Paint stock?

Rediscover Paint stocks non-hazardous, water based paints for internal use on walls and ceilings only in a range of colours. We sell a small amount of external paint in the colours White and Magnolia. We can, however, mix an amount of paint that is a bespoke colour of your choice. For more information about paint orders, email Dave Kavanagh from Rediscover Paint at dave@rediscoverycentre.ie.

How to buy Rediscover Paint

Rediscover Paint is available to purchase in our Eco Store at the Rediscovery Centre in Ballymun. The recycled paint is available for purchase at €1 per 1 Litre of paint. It is also currently available on our website: https://rediscovery-centre.myshopify.com/

Paint membership

The Rediscovery Centre previously sold paint through a paint membership scheme. This scheme is no longer operating. All current paint memberships are valid until their expiry date and will then move to the purchase per litre.

Ways to Reuse Paint

Usually we have a range of different colours in our paint store, which are especially good for schools, community groups and youth projects. The types and colours of paint vary all the time depending on seasons and trends.
