The Rediscovery Centre are delighted to announce that we will be participating in this year’s TY Expo. The TY Expo will take place on Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th September in Punchestown Racecouse, Naas, Co Kildare.
Sarah Clear from the Education team and Carrie-Ann from our Fashion team will be at the stand to talk to TY students and teachers about our exciting new programme of workshops for Transition Year and our innovative new centre in the Ballymun Boiler House that will be open in Jan 2017. Come along and visit our stand to from 9.30am to 4pm on 12th and 13th Sept at the TY Expo.
The Rediscovery Centre offers a range of STEAM workshops for Transition Year students which are linked to the second level curriculum through Science, Geography, CSPE, ESS and Art, Craft & Design, and Maths. This cross curricular approach provides students with an opportunity to be creative and develop analytical skills in a hands-on way. Our workshops can be delivered either in our education centre in the repurposed iconic Ballymun Boiler House or as outreach in your own classroom.
