We were delighted to receive the Social Enterprise Mark from Social Impact Ireland together with six other outstanding organisations on 15th November at an event held at the Rediscovery Centre.
What is the Social Enterprise Mark?
The Social Enterprise Mark is the only accreditation in Ireland to independently assess organisations against sector-agreed criteria to provide a guarantee of a commitment to trading for the primary benefit of people and planet, recognising organisations that are committed to creating positive social change.
Why is it significant?
In the absence of any official legal definition of social enterprises, the Social Enterprise Mark creates trust, uphold standards, and legitimises social enterprises as a purpose-driven force in Ireland. The Social Enterprise Mark will help us to share our mission and articulate our social impact, and allow us to demonstrate best practice in Social Enterprise, inspiring and educating other organisations who share the same ethos.
