World Circular Economy Forum + Climate Event to take place in April

Posted on 30th March 2021

The World Circular Economy Forum is a landmark event of the year that brings together business leaders, policymakers and experts to present the world’s best circular economy solutions. On 15 and 16 April 2021, Sitra will be co-hosting with the Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands a high-level meeting to address the connection between the circular economy and climate.

WCEF+Climate will help to prepare for upcoming international climate negotiations and aims to position the circular economy higher on the UN Climate Change Conferences and broader international agenda. The objective is also to broaden the coalition and build bridges between the public and private sector. This will include more developing countries in the global debate on the benefits of circularity. The event will take place in the Netherlands and online.
