September Circular Economy Newsletter
Our September Circular Economy Newsletter is out now!
Explore the latest research, policy progressions, circular innovations, jobs, and more from Ireland and around the world.
We’re leaving behind a successful Secondhand September and moving into Reuse Month, with many exciting events on the horizon.
September saw the release of the EPA’s National Repair Survey, the EPA Municipal Waste Characterisation study, as well as a National Recycling Bin survey, shedding light on statistics on repair and waste in Irish households. We received worrying climate news, as we have now crossed 6 out of 9 planetary boundaries, and the Irish government was awarded a C+ for their climate action.
Venturing beyond Ireland, we saw the international expansion of Irish circular businesses and a host of newly released reports, greenwashing directives, circular funding opportunities, and the release of the International Repair Monitor data for the first time to the public. Let’s dive in!
