ECCO Community Skills Fair
Looking back on an exciting milestone for the ECCO Project at September’s Circular Community Skills Fair in Athlone!
From moving talks to hand-on demos, the event sparked fresh ideas and new connections for building local resilience and meaningful action for climate adaptation.
Highlights of the day? A live clothes swap demo by Change Clothes showing us the many benefits of community-driven action! Celebrity Chef Edward Hayden wrapped up the day with a mouth-watering cooking demo featuring wholesome, budget-friendly family recipes using Irish only produce.
A big thanks to our incredible project partners EDI Centre Longford, Roscommon Women’s Network and Tait House Community Enterprise and to everyone who came, exhibited and shared their passion!
Thank you to all those who attended for their support, curiosity and concern for communities which made this day unforgettable.
