We have an exciting programme of workshops lined up to inspire creativity, sustainability and fun over the coming months! While the Rediscovery Centre will be closed on Saturdays during July, we’ll be back in August with a brilliant line-up of events for all ages.
Highlights include:
- Síóg: Foraging & Wild Foods Workshop (Sat 16th August): Join us for an outdoor adventure discovering edible plants and learning about the rich biodiversity around us.
- Make Your Own Bottle Lamp! (Sat 23rd August): Transform an old bottle into a unique, working lamp – a fun and functional upcycling project.
- Introduction to Furniture Upholstery (Sat 30th August): Learn essential upholstery skills and bring along a small piece of furniture to work on.
- Heritage Week Workshop for Kids (Sat 30th August): A creative celebration of National Heritage Week, designed especially for younger participants.
Don’t forget, we also offer Tours of the Rediscovery Centre all week, where you can explore our unique building and see the circular economy in action.
