History and Achievements – Furniture

Rediscover Furniture was the first reuse social enterprise piloted by Rediscovery Centre in 2006. Since then, Rediscover Furniture has helped to inspire, and create opportunities for, people to create something of value from old furniture. With original goals to reduce waste, create jobs and training opportunities and stimulate sustainable lifestyles, the successful model was applied to textiles, bicycles and paint to create the centre’s three additional programmes.

In recent years, Rediscover Furniture’s achievements have been celebrated at various events, awards ceremonies and festivals, showcasing their outstanding work.
