Audrey Rutherford
Retail Supervisor

Meet Audrey Rutherford, retail supervisor with the centre now for over a decade. Audrey oversees our best-in-class Eco Store to ensure that all products exemplify a reuse ethos. To do this, she works closely with our suppliers to support them and promote their work to all centre visitors. Formerly an estate agent in London, Audrey has a background in counselling and group facilitation, and believes that community support is essential to the growth of the circular economy.
Her particular affinity with climate action revolves around food, including food sharing, reduction of consumption, resource conservation and waste prevention. Recognising the benefits that growing can bring to communities, Audrey frequently organises events such as seed and plant swaps in the centre.
In her spare time, Audrey is studying organic horticulture at The Organic College in Dromcolliher, Co Limerick, and is also learning to play the cello. She loves supporting locally grown organic producers, and making a really good (Fairtrade) barista coffee.
