Office Manager
This is Martha Ward, who has been office manager at Rediscovery Centre since April 2021. Martha oversees the organisation’s administrative needs and she supports HR processes as well as the financial requirements of the business. Her professional background includes time spent working in an administrative capacity for a global Amazon reseller and a top UK security organisation.
For Martha, Rediscovery Centre’s ethos of developing the circular economy through community support and development was the initial attraction for Martha. However, seeing the work in action has inspired Martha to participate further in circular economy activity. For the most part she tries to consume less, or more responsibly, favouring local suppliers and natural materials. Passionate about sewing, she enjoys exploring repair and reuse possibilities for textiles. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cycling, and making quilts.
