Head of Education
Meet Sarah Clear, Head of Education at the Rediscovery Centre since 2014.
Sarah manages the Education Programme and team at the Rediscovery Centre. This includes the development and delivery of circular economy, environmental and STEM education programmes based on hands-on enquiry and experiential learning, engaging with over 10,000 people each year!
Sarah has an MSc in Ecotourism & Wildlife Biology from Napier University, Scotland, a BSc in Applied Ecology from University College Cork, and has previously worked in conservation research and environmental education, both in Ireland and abroad (including Madagascar!).
The highlight of Sarah’s job is getting young people engaged and excited about science and the environment!
