Build Your Own Mini Pond Workshop with The Grassroots Guild

Learn how to create your own mini wildlife pond with this fun, hands-on intro to pond ecology and design – no garden required!

Learn to build your own mini pond for wildlife, using repurposed materials and native aquatic plants sourced directly from the Rediscovery Centre pond.

Join Gobnait Ní Néill of The Grassroots Guild, a not for profit social enterprise that shares the skills that allow people, groups and businesses to take an active role in restoring nature, wherever they live or work.

Participants will each receive a starter kit, to get cracking on their own pond at home, and join our ever growing network of much needed water sources to support wildlife throughout the community.

This workshop will primarily be outdoors, so dress for the weather!
