How to Clone Your Clothes

Do you have a favourite item of clothing that you wish you could buy again, or have in multiple colours? Do you want to step away from fast-changing microtrends and wear clothes you truly love?

In this four-hour workshop, you’ll learn the essential techniques to make that dream a reality!

Guided by the Rediscover Fashion team, you’ll work with a basic T-shirt/top or pair of trousers/skirt to learn how to:

• Create a pattern from an existing garment
• Cut fabric using your pattern
• Sew your new piece together

This workshop is suitable for intermediate-level sewers who are comfortable using a sewing machine.

What to bring:

• A simple item of clothing to work from
• Your favourite piece for advice and inspiration

Sewing machines can be provided if needed, but we recommend bringing your own if possible.
