Join us for a fun and creative workshop where you’ll create your own upcycled denim coaster while learning the ancient repair technique of Sashiko.

You'll learn the basics of Sashiko, a traditional Japanese embroidery technique used for visible mending. This hands-on session is the perfect introduction to sustainable fashion and repair!

Participants will craft their own unique denim coffee cup coaster using two upcycled denim squares, embroidery thread, and Sashiko repair techniques. Not only will you gain a practical new skill, but you'll also dive into the growing movement of visible mending, making your mark on sustainability—one stitch at a time!
